latest updates

Oddly enough, after the last burst of Ubuntu updates and a clean Notes 8beta install, things have been working famously (except for the embedded browser). There are occasional app lockups, but nothing unrecoverable, knock on wood.

My next question is whether anyone has successfully installed Domino 8beta on Ubuntu? I'm going to take a stab at it later tonight, but if anyone's already walked that path, I'd love to hear about it. Especially if they were able to make it go on Edgy as opposed to the still in development Feisty release.

Best to not run beta apps on beta OSes whenever possible. :P
